What is Colourplus - Overview?

Colourplus is a coloured paint style, coating system used for colour demarcation on roads, car parks, cycle ways, walkways, central reservations, airports, docks, factories, parks, playgrounds and footbridges. Colourplus is available in a range of bright, vivid, UV stable colours that contain fine high psv aggregates to offer effective slip and skid resistant.

Colourplus has excellent adhesion to most surfaces, is resistant to petrol or diesel spillage and is fast drying.

Application

Easily applied by roller, spray, brush or squeegee, Colourplus is a cost-effective solution for marking designated areas and is frequently used by many major retail stores and shopping centres in their car parks.

Technical

Colourplus is a single part, solvent-based, UV stable modified acrylic resin containing fine aggregate for effective friction. It is lead free and is sold in 25kg drums. Depending on the surface texture of the sub base, one 25kg drum of Colourplus will cover approximately 12-18sqm by roller application and 15 - 20sqm by spray per coat, when applied at 20°C.
