What is Clearline - Overview?

Clearline is a cost-effective, durable line marking paint available in a range of bright UV stable colours. It can be made reflective by applying Retrolux glass beads onto the wet paint prior to drying.

Where can Clearline be used?

Clearline is a chlorinated rubber solvent based (CR) paint designed for line marking on roads, aircraft runways, car parks, factory floors, school playgrounds and for indoor and outdoor sports surfaces.

Application

The application surface must be clean, dry and contamination free. Clearline has been optimised for application by spray machinery, but it can also be applied by roller or brush. Ensure that the paint is stirred thoroughly before use. One coat is advised.

Technical

Clearline is a chlorinated rubber solvent based resin paint that is highly durable and has good adhesion to most commonly encountered surfaces. It is available in six bright UV stable colours. The approximate spread rate per 20 litre drum is 54m² and 13m² per 5 litre drum provided that it is applied at 350 microns thick.

Clearline is sold in 20 litre and 5 litre containers. However some of the colours in the range are only available in 5 litre drums. A conventional airless spray machine is recommended for spray applications, such as a Titan Powrliner 4900, available from Adbruf.
